Wellbeing Projects Officer

Barry Town Council are recruiting a Well-being Projects Officer to work within our Community Engagement and Events Team.

Barry Town Council is an ambitious, pro-active council and works on a wide range of projects. You will support the Community Engagement Officer to deliver a range of projects to support the Council’s priorities which focus on the Well-being of Future Generations (Wales) Act 2015 which are;

You will be expected to work both strategically and operationally and will need to have a good understanding of the Wellbeing of Future Generations’ legislation and the role of the Town Council within it.

You will work in partnership with a range of other key stakeholders; internally with councillors/staff and externally with the Vale of Glamorgan Council, local traders, voluntary and community groups to deliver projects which will make a positive local impact.
