Net Zero Strategy

Ahead of the UNCOP26 summit, the government has issued its Net Zero Strategy setting out how the UK will deliver on its commitment to reach net zero emissions by 2050. It outlines measures to transition to a green sustainable future, supporting new jobs, leveraging private investment and reducing Britain’s reliance on imported fossil fuels by boosting clean energy.

Heat and Buildings Strategy and Consultations

Alongside its Net Zero Strategy, the government has issued a Heat and Buildings Strategy. This sets out how the UK will decarbonise our homes and our commercial, industrial and public sector buildings as part of setting a path to net zero by 2050.
