Several new appointments have recently been announced at the government’s Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities (DLUHC). Simon Hoare MP, who before becoming an MP served as a parish, district and county councillor, and Jacob Young MP, who previously served as Assistant Government Whip, have both been appointed Parliamentary Under Secretary of State. Previous Parliamentary Under Secretary of State, Lee Rowley MP, has been appointed Minister of State (Minister for Housing).
