30 March 2021The new National Living Wage rates increase from £8.72 an hour to £8.91 an hour from this Thursday, 1st April 2021. This rate applies for the first time to those 23 and over, rather than 25 and over previously.
The rates also increase for:
- 21 and 22 years old to £8.36 an hour – previously £8.20 an hour
- 18 – 20 year old to £6.56 an hour – previously £6.45 an hour
- Under 18’s to £4.62 an hour from £4.55 an hour
