21 January 2020Following a recent governance review, Bradford Council have agreed the formation of a new town council for Shipley.
The Town Council will be up and running in May with residents being able to vote in councillors at the same time as Bradford Council elections.
The campaign group collected over 950 signatures from local residents in support of a town council which triggered the right to request a formal assessment from Bradford Council.
