Parliament to consider a Bill that would limit planning application appeals that are contrary to neighbourhood plans

A Private Members Bill has been introduced to the House of Commons that would limit the grounds of appeal against decisions on planning applications consistent with a neighbourhood development plan or local plan.

The Planning (Appeals) Bill, introduced by John Howell MP, received its first reading in the House of Commons last week.
