Revised National Planning Policy Framework Update – Government Correction

Correction issued on announcement

The government has issued a correction on the statement that that new National Planning Policy Framework will be published next week. Michael Gove MP,  Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities, had issued the formal correction to comments made in the House of Commons last week – where he said  the revised version of the National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF) would be published next month – the correction clarified instead that it will be a document outlining the government’s proposed changes.

Announcement

Michael Gove MP, the Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing, and Communities, has advised that the revised National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF) will be published in July.

The NPPF sets out the government’s planning policies for England and how these are expected to be applied.
