With feedback from SLCC members and input from the SLCC/ National Association of Local Councils (NALC) Steering Group, SLCC has submitted its response to the Martyn’s Law Standard Tier consultation. SLCC would like to thank everyone who contributed to the response via our rapid response survey, and those who separately submitted responses. SLCC continue to work with the Home Office whilst they analyse feedback to the consultation. Information will be passed on as it comes through, though it’s not yet clear when the draft Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Bill will start its parliamentary journey through to legislation.
