Successful Bids for Community Ownership Funding

The government has published its list of successful bidders from round three of its Community Ownership Fund. The fund helps local community groups protect local assets at risk of being lost through community ownership such as sports facilities, arts and music venues, museums and galleries, parks, pubs, post offices, and shops.

The list of successful bidders includes the following 11 local councils:

Round 4 of COF, the final one, will open soon and the government is encouraging all interested community groups seeking to secure ownership of local places and spaces to apply. Key dates as follows:

  • Expression of Interest stage – always open
  • Round 4 Window 1 is open from 25 March 2024 to 10 April 2024
  • Round 4 Window 2 will open in late May
