On April 22, IIMC distributed 15,230 ballots to IIMC members throughout Regions I through XI regarding the IIMC Vice President election. The election concluded on Friday, May 2 at 5 pm – Pacific Daylight Time. The results are below:
Number of members who voted: 2,111
Janice Bates, MMC – 776 votes – 36.76%
Travis Morris, MMC – 552 votes – 26.25%
Angela Johnson, MMC – 429 votes – 20.32%
Stephen Huycke, CMC – 354 votes – 16.77%
Janice Bates, MMC, Tipp City, Ohio, was elected with a majority of votes cast.
Bates will be sworn in during the Annual Business Meeting at the 79th Annual Conference on May 21 in St. Louis, Missouri.
