Through a panel of representatives from areas that have already transitioned to unitary status sharing their experiences, the webinar provided insights into the impact of reorganisation on local councils, how councils have adapted, taken on new assets, and strengthened community leadership.

Our second free* webinar, ‘What Does It Mean for Us? Mayoral Combined Authorities’, will be taking place next week on Wednesday 16 April from 12pm to 1.30pm. This webinar will look at the role and powers of mayors in new combined authorities, how local councils are engaging with mayors and principal authorities, and give you practical insights from councils working within mayoral structures.
