SLCC Chief Executive, Rob Smith has consulted with a number of councils to identify key issues facing leaders within the sector. In the first session each table will be allocated an issue, asked to explore the challenges it presents for leadership and to recommend possible solutions.

This session will brief attendees on Unconscious Bias, explore the impact of unconscious bias on individuals and teams, explore strategies for avoiding UB generally and in the workplace, reflect on individual unconscious bias when making decisions, dealing with different groups/members of the public and provide an action plan for change.
