SLCC’s Practitioners’ Conference with its unique blend of alternative workshops all of direct practical relevance to parish, community and town councils takes place in 2020 at Chesford Grange Hotel, Kenilworth, Warwickshire on Wednesday and Thursday 26th / 27th February. The full programme of sessions is now available which include “The art of the difficult conversations”, Crime Prevention & Community Safety, Reducing Energy Bills & Carbon Emissions, Top appraisal techniques, Data Protection, Dealing with Councillors with Criminal Records, Setting up a Community Interest Company, Effective and practical steps to combat climate change, General Power of Competence and much, much more. There will also be the chance of one to one sessions with national advisors for Employment, Planning, Legal and Finance, and hear from motivating keynote speakers.
