Hours: 30 hours per week (Monday to Friday) The post holder must be prepared to work occasional evening and weekends, for which time will be given off in lieu.

We are looking for an exceptionally organised Finance Officer to join our small team here at Keighley Town Council.

It’s an exciting time to be joining the Council. In the last year, we launched our Keighley Vision. The vision sets out what the town council wants to achieve by 2027 with its overarching aim to build a brighter future together.
We’ve restructured the team to make our organisation more dynamic, and effective. This role is crucial in that new direction. Working closely with the Town Clerk you’ll be responsible the organisation’s financial function, managing accounting systems, and contributing to our ambitious plans. You’ll work collaboratively with our staff, Councillors, to ensure the Town Council maintains the highest level of financial management.
The ideal candidate will have strong financial management skills, enabling them to support and work closely with the Finance and Policy Committee. They will be a highly skilled financial administrator, capable of multitasking and working efficiently to deliver the ambitious work of the Council.
