County Association Training

County associations are representative bodies for local councils in their area and play a key role in the work that the National Association of Local Councils (NALC) do.

Please see below a list of training offered by the Council Associations.

Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Association of Local Councils (CAPALC)

At CAPALC our CiLCA Training is undertaken over 5 sessions, all delivered remotely via Zoom and using the 2021 Portfolio Guide.

CAPALC’s CiLCA Training and Support Programme costs £400 for CAPALC members and includes all 5 sessions alongside mentoring support (including post training support) which is offered either one-to-one or in our CiLCA Mentoring Drop-In Sessions.

You will be allocated a personal trainer/mentor at the beginning of your training course so you have a clear point of contact.

For more details on CiLCA training or to book on the free ‘Introduction to CiLCA’ session, contact Samantha Sharp office@capalc.org.uk
